My name is Jo and live with my husband and our 3 children. I have over 18 years of experience bringing up our children and felt it was time to focus more on the opportunity to help with your childcare. Our house is a happy home and full of fun and laughter which we are happy to share.
Our Animals
We love our animals and find that children are always entertained by them. We have chickens, small dogs, rabbits and even a large tortoise. We try to include them in our activities where possible. They all have there own dedicated areas in the house and our not left alone with the children.
Childminding is a Passion
Child-minding is more than just a job to me, I am passionate about providing every child in my care the opportunity to not only reach his or her full potential, but also to experience a warm, loving, home based environment. I believe in working in partnership with parents/ carers, as without their knowledge about their child, I cannot provide the play based curriculum which is planned around each child’s interests, likes, stage of development and family experiences. As a working mother myself, I understand how difficult it can be to leave your child in the hands of someone else. I hope to make this transition a little easier for you and your child.
